During use, water passes through a three-stage activated carbon filter where chlorine and other chemical agents, such as plastics, are removed. Next, a hollow-fiber microfiltration system catches all particles larger than .1 micron, including bacteria such as e coli, giardia, and cryptosporidium. The water is then treated with an ultraviolet ray that kills viruses that may be present in your water, leaving it bacteria- and virus-free, completely safe for human consumption. The water then continues to the second treatment stage.
Water Ionization – a “Wetter” Water
In addition, the machine ionizes the minerals in water, making them more bio-available. Ionization also changes the water’s surface tension, creating more absorbable, “wetter” water consisting of smaller groups of molecules.
