Science-Based Evidence for Muscle Testing as a Diagnostic Tool
This person wanted me to provide them with research from the Journal of the American Medical Association, apparently because their perception is that JAMA is the definitive medical journal in the world. And don't get me wrong; it is great; it's just not the only great source of medical information out there.
I didn't take the time to provide it, and this person left a few weeks later. Maybe that's on me. Well, if you do take the time to do a search on JAMA, as of today, on the following criteria - "Non-Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug" "gut health" - you come up with 22 studies. If you want to read it in full, it is $15.00 per article for one time access, or you can subscribe to the online journal for $125.00 a year. I didn't do it, and JAMA is a great journal; I just have a perception that is different enough to allow the possibility that other medical journals are doing good studies as well.
What I did do at the time was think to myself, "Yeah, Client X; you're right, there is no scientific basis for our discussion on NSAIDs being bad for gut health. But you know what? Your breath is kickin' like Van Damme, so you might want to consider the possibility that not all is right with your gut terrain."
What can I say? I'm not perfect. I'm not always professional (in my thoughts). And I am not even always right. What I always "am", is interested in improving my process to help you get results, and that has incredible value, whether you believe it or not.
