Science-Based Evidence for Muscle Testing as a Diagnostic Tool

Scientific Evidence for Muscle Testing: Power VS. Force, The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior, David R. Hawkins, MD, PhD

Up to this point, the main thrust of my article has been to give some background information. However, without some irrefutable scientific proof, this article is nothing more than a diatribe.

Perhaps the work of Dr. David R Hawkins, of the Institute for Advanced Spiritual Research, will be helpful. His book, Power VS. Force, references the sciences of kinesiology, computers, and non-linear dynamics; as well as chaos theory, to make its central point, which is that

The individual human mind is like a computer terminal connected to a giant database. The data-base is human consciousness itself, of which our own cognizance is merely an individual expression, but with its roots in the common consciousness of all mankind...

...The unlimited information contained in the database has now been shown to be readily available to anyone in a few seconds, at any time and in any place...

Dr. Hawkins claims that the results of his book are based upon "20 years of investigation and millions of calibrations on thousands of subjects by teams of investigators..."

So I checked that fact out, and called Veritas Publishing, the company that Dr. Hawkins sells many of his books from. I purchased his dissertation for his PhD, and I read it. It is a 150+ page scientific study conducted across 20 years of research on several focus groups.

It is exactly what his book said it is. It, like the work of Dr. Diamond before it, quantifies the muscle response in a controlled environment. It also goes a step further to arrange those muscle responses into a logarithmic scale from 0-1000.

This is a verified scientific study spanning over 20 years of research, thousands of test subjects, and millions of independent tests. If you are a client of mine, and you are interested in reading a study that proves what I am trying to get across to you, I will lend you my copy. I will also provide a link at the end of the article to purchase your own if you prefer.
